Kyntra Labs ("we", "us") operates the website kyntralabs.co. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

Who is responsible for your data

Kyntra Labs is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. For anything related to this policy or your personal data, write to us at admin@kyntralabs.co or use the contact form on this site.

What data we collect and why

Contact form. When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and the content of your message. We use this data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box before sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. If an engagement follows, we continue to process the data we need in order to perform that engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your first name, last name and email address in order to send you occasional emails about technology, brands, marketing and growth. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.

Website usage and cookies. This website is hosted on Squarespace, which sets strictly necessary cookies to make the site work and, only if you accept them, analytics and performance cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit and change your choice at any time as explained in our Cookie Policy, which lists every cookie we use. Non-essential cookies are not set unless you accept them. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for non-essential cookies, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website for strictly necessary ones.

Spam protection. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses browser and interaction signals to distinguish people from automated submissions. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to that processing.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Squarespace, Inc. (website hosting, form storage, newsletter delivery and site analytics). Squarespace is based in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google LLC (reCAPTCHA spam protection), on the same basis.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless an engagement follows, in which case the data is kept under the terms of that engagement.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Cookie preferences: your choice in the cookie banner is stored for 30 days, after which we ask again.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, write to us at admin@kyntralabs.co.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

Security

Data stored through this website is protected by Squarespace's technical and organisational security measures. Internally, access to enquiries and subscriber data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
